January 31, 2024 – Thank you to Crédit Agricole Italia for generously donating 120,000 euros to our institution in support of a significant research project dedicated to the treatment of stroke.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from a bank that values its relationship with the local community at our research and innovation institute.

  • The grant will support a pioneering rehabilitation approach that starts with the cognitive evaluation of the patient and continues with three different phases: imagination training with the patient seated, a phase of spontaneous walking, and a phase of walking with the assistance of an exoskeleton.
  • “What is revolutionary is the non-stop monitoring of the brain activity modification during the three different phases of exercise” stated Clinical Director Dr. Franco Molteni. “During the imagination phase, for example, we combine the capability of the electroencephalogram (EEG) to observe brain activity with Dessintey technology’s capacity to analyze how the brain functions during movement imagination”.
  • “One of our core values is responsibility, not only from an economic standpoint, but also from social and environmental perspectives” stated Colli Umberto, Head of Direzione Regionale Lombardia Nord Crédit Agricole Italia. “With this in mind, we have decided to support this project, which represents absolute excellence in the international landscape. It combines not only the human aspect of the patient who has experienced a stroke, but also a digital component”.
