Description: The aim of Fit for Medical Robotics is to revolutionize the current rehabilitation and care models for people with impaired or no motor, sensory or cognitive functions, through new (bio)robotic and related digital technologies and continuity of care paradigms capable of exploiting the new technologies in all phases of the rehabilitation process, from prevention to home care in the chronic phase.

Description: The objective of the study is to develop a modular, specific device adaptable to every patient that provides needs-based care and maximizes the efficiency of training both in hospital and during rehabilitation at home through the use of serious gaming. ReHyb thus offers a pleasant experience while supporting patients during their activities of daily living.

Description: The aim of the research is to develop rehabilitation and sport paradigms that involve the lower limbs, combining Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) with powered exoskeleton-assisted walking (FES-Leg) and pedalling (FES-Bike).

Descrizione: La ricerca mira a esplorare le potenzialità dell’Additive Manufacturing (AM), e in particolare di quelle basate sull’utilizzo dei materiali compositi polimerici (particellare, a fibra corta e lunga), nella realizzazione di protesi e ausili protesici per pazienti a cui è stato amputato l’arto inferiore.

Description: The aim of the study is to identify factors that influence the prognosis of ischaemic stroke patients through an investigation of genetic factors and variations in the composition of the gut microbiota. The research also aims to determine the influences that these factors have on post-stroke functional recovery through a correlation with the clinical scales established in accordance with the ICF.

Description: The purpose of the research is to determine the effect of the experimental rehabilitation intervention applied to the upper limb on the perceived size of this limb (body representation) compared to the standard of care after 4 weeks of rehabilitation therapy.
